We warmly welcome to our Pre-primary section With motherly and lovable atmosphere where education is departed with fun and joy. Our Teachers are well-qualified, experienced, well trained in pre-primary that takes care of the kids in each class. Our teachers are creating motherly and lovable atmosphere in school, so for that our pupils school is a second home. i.e. Home away from home. What I see I forget What I do I remember
We accept the play-way method, which is enjoyed by the kids. Each child participates in all the activities taken in the class. We use worksheet method to track every student progress. As per the need of the hour, we teach the little ones through smart class, exposing them to advance technology.
At Shree Swaminarayan International Pre Primary school, a lot of emphasis is laid on teaching English as most of the children come from homes where the language spoken regularly is not English. Year-wise objectives are laid out whereby in early years emphasis is on speaking, listening, pre reading & writing skills. Comprehension is a skill which is focused on, throughout the pre-primary school years. It is an integral part of language development. Language should aid communication and children are encouraged to express themselves in a variety of ways to a variety of audiences using the skills acquired. On a daily basis stories are read, discussed and interpreted in the classrooms. In the Early year’s stories, rhymes, poems and non-fiction text (small passages with topics which interest the children of this age group) are read and discussed in the class rooms. Children participate every day in the classroom discussions, retelling the stories, sequencing the stories, reciting rhymes, picture reading and variety of activities designed for vocabulary building.
At our pre-primary school pre-math emphasizes on teaching the quality and essence of numbers using practical activities. Application of this knowledge to everyday life is what makes the learning interesting for children. For instance to teach number 2 all things that exist in nature in twos are used to explain its qualitative and quantitative aspect for example, 2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 legs, etc. Our curriculum at the pre-primary school level has been designed to introduce mathematical concepts in a simple and tangible manner concentrating on one attribute at a time and progressing gradually. Our lesson plans are built to develop thinking and problem solving abilities through activities, observation, analysis and discussions.
The pre-primary school curriculum has been developed to make the child understand and explore his immediate environment and the physical world. Also to learn the basic technique of exploring, questioning and drawing conclusions from their learning. Basic concepts pertaining to science is also covered in this pre-primary stage. They will also be taught to develop care and concern for animals, plants and environmental protection. Concepts like human body, foods, animals, environment, weather, culture and festivals, neighborhood, plants, sea-life etc. are introduced.
In our pre-primary schools, physical and personal development is given paramount importance as it is a very important aspect of overall development. Physical education takes care of developing the fine and gross motor skills and a lot of time is dedicated to this. Objectives are set for each age group in terms of what they are expected to do physically and necessary developmental aids are used to achieve those. Stamina, balance, rhythm, strength, agility, and concentration are developed using a variety of enjoyable games and activities. This also helps to develop good habits, self-care ability and a healthy lifestyle and enables the children to understand the limit of physical capabilities and develop awareness of self-protection
At Shree Swaminarayan International Pre-Primary School we recognize that the child will grow into a confident adult only if (s) he has a strong sense of self-image. This domain is worked upon every single day in our school through stories, role-play, group activities, and show & tell activities. Children are encouraged and taught to listen to and respect others’ views and opinions. They are taught to differentiate between good and bad, to be aware of rules and positive discipline. At our School we work tirelessly to bring out the best out of your children so that they can be the beautiful citizens that you want them to be.
Colour Day: To know and understand, the various colour concepts, we have celebrated various Colour days like Red day blue day, green day, Pink day, Yellow day. Competitions: To develop the public speaking confidence, we had various competitions like rhyme recitation competition in various languages like English, Gujarati, Hindi rhyme competition and English story narration.
To know and understand the importance of various festivals, we have celebrated the festivals, so that children will understand the significance of festival, how to celebrate the festivals, and activity related to the festival is also been conducted various festival celebrations like Guru Purnima, Raksha Bandhan Dahi Handi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Diwali, Christmas and Uttarayan celebration by kite flying. To understand and inculcate healthy food habits we had common Tiffin day celebration like Fruit salad day, Pavbhaji day.
National Festival like Independence Day was celebrated by fancy dress competition where tiny tots were dressed up in freedom fighter costume
We had annual sports day celebration with various events which was age appropriate for kids.
Art is introduced to children so that they use it to play, to express, to explore and to enjoy. The Art room is well-stocked with quality resources like paper, crayons, colours, brushes, etc. Our teacher with a well-defined art curriculum introduces children to various art forms. Music is introduced to children at this pre-primary school stage so that they develop a love for it. In early years children are made aware of the rhythm and melody through group singing of songs and rhymes.
The Annual Prize Distribution 2015-2016 ceremony is an occasion to acclaim the achievements of Students who have attained excellence in academic and co-curricular spheres through their dedicated efforts and perseverance. Felicitating the achievers not only motivates them to set new benchmarks for themselves, but also spurs on their peers to aim for similar heights. It's absolutely true that success is a consequence of sustained hard work and determined efforts and the winners of the various special awards proved that they were a focused lot. The proud achievers in the various categories include. Finally, I can hardly tell you how blessed our school is to have such a Wonderful, talented and cooperative staff. Without each one of my staff members, it would be impossible for me to guide this ship of our school to its destination. Thank you so much, dear staff members, teaching, non-teaching and maintenance personnel. Truly, Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan have been so kind and gracious to us!
